announced was an agreement with Bath Iron Works, a subsidiary
of General Dynamics, and Todd Shipyards for work on the USS CHAFEE

become known as the "go-to" group for repairs, helping
the U.S. Navy surface ships in Hawaii meet their commitments.
Highly skilled, experienced personnel are equipped to respond
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to any customer requirements. Our
dedicated, accomplished, local workforce is fully capable of providing
complete marine repair services. Our resources include
ownership of and access to mobile cranes up to 300 tons, high
reaches, forklifts and all heavy equipment required to support
the ship repair industry.
Our capabilities and presence in Pearl Harbor enhance an already
vibrant environment, based on the growing spirit of public/private
partnership. As the U.S. Navy Fleet ages, an increased demand
for modernization exists. Because of this need for more surface
ship work on cruisers and destroyers home ported in Pearl Harbor,
Hawaii Shipyards provides additional resources to our largest
customer, the U.S. Navy, and to our commercial customers.
